Visit the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance Website:

Navigate to the Massachusetts Department of Unemployment Assistance website homepage and find the Working tab, which is the second option in the main navigation bar.

Hover over the Working tab and click on the Unemployment option.

Find The Online Unemployment Services:

Next, scroll down the page to the Unemployment Information for Workers heading. Select the Applying for Unemployment Benefits option from the menu.

Scroll down the page again to find the Top Tasks heading, and select the Apply For Unemployment Benefits option. Once you have been transferred to the next page, you can click on the Apply For Unemployment Benefits Online option to get started with your claim.

Sign In To Your Online Account:

To log in to the online portal, enter your Social Security Number twice. Once you have done so, click the next button.

Next, select the Start The Unemployment Benefits Application button from the bottom of the page to proceed and begin filling in the online application form.

File Your Online Claim:

You need to provide personal information and your employment details to verify your identity and claim unemployment benefits. The information you require includes:

  • Social Security Number
  • Alien Registration Number if you aren't a U.S. citizen
  • Birthdate
  • Mailing address, phone number, and email address
  • Business name and address of your most recent employer
  • The reason for your unemployment
  • Start and end dates of your most recent employment
